In short
- Routine pays adena x1 and allows autofarm.
- Elite pays x1.5 and does not allow autofarm.
- War Zone: 20:00 to midnight, adena x2, everyone flagged.
All of them are retail zones you already know. What changes is how much they pay and what happens to you inside them.
There are seven: Monastery of Silence, Hellbound, Primeval Isle, Hot Springs, Forge of the Gods, Ketra Orc Outpost and Varka Silenos Outpost. This is where autofarm works, and where you go when you want materials without a fight today.
Dragon Valley, Stakato Nest and the three parts of Seed of Annihilation, at adena x1.5. Autofarm does not work here: if you want the bonus, you are at the keyboard.
It is not a new place. Every night one of five zones becomes the War Zone during those hours and goes back to normal afterwards: Primeval Isle, Hot Springs, Forge of the Gods, Ketra Orc Outpost and Varka Silenos Outpost. Which one is drawn, like the Hot Zone, so there will be no calendar for it either. While the window is open:
The limit of each one came from where its mobs actually spawn, taken from the game itself, rather than a rectangle drawn by eye. In practice that means the border does not cut a spot in half, and you do not lose the multiplier for having walked five metres the wrong way.
At 18:00 the server announces a Routine or Elite zone that will pay 50% more Seal that day. It is the warning that arrives before you sit down, so you know where to go with the hour you have. It is drawn, not rotated: there is no telling on Monday which one falls on Thursday, and there will be no calendar for it. The War Zone is left out of the draw because it already pays double.
