Any player can put a price on any other. The command is .hitman, and the board is public from start to finish.
It takes no Rubies and no Hunting Seal, and that is the whole of the decision: if the store currency could hire, somebody paying on the site would be ordering people killed, and that is combat power bought with money through a side door. A contract comes out of adena, which is farmed.
The contract is announced to the whole server the moment it opens, and the target is told again on every login. There are no secret contracts here. Being a target is a status rather than an ambush: on a hidden board the system turns into a harassment tool aimed at one person, and nobody outside it can see that it is happening.
Of the bounty. It is what takes adena out of circulation every time somebody uses the board, in a world that never resets and where the adena of whoever stays only piles up.
A contract exists to send somebody hunting somebody else, and every one of these is a way to collect without hunting anybody:
